Stone Faqs ~ Magnesite stones have a creamy-white base color with a stunning sandy-brown and earthy rust toned matrix – some combined with warm hints of pink.  It forms from the carbonation of magnesium-rich rocks.  Beads do vary in color and can range from white to yellow to grayish-brown.  Magnesite is sometimes dyed and stabilized to resemble other stones such as turquoise.  In this case, it is named Persian Pink Turquoise.
